One day, this gift will be taken away. The more aware you are, the more you live in the present moment, the more you can truly enjoy this gift while you have it."

This statement isn't about sports. But it speaks to Chanrou's deepest philosophy.

We often forget that our bodies are a gift.

From childhood, we are taught to manage our bodies—to make them meet certain standards, to make them perform better, to keep them from getting sick, and to make them look a certain way.

The body has become an object that needs to be managed, rather than a precious gift.

When it disappoints you, you blame it. When it breaks down, you rush to fix it. When it gets old, you try to fight it.

Few people stop to properly appreciate the days it has taken them through.

Only through awareness can one truly enjoy.

Juliu's key words are "awareness" and "the present moment".

The more aware you are, the more you live in the present moment, the more you can enjoy this gift.

This statement isn't about overthinking or analyzing your body. It's about truly feeling it—where your body is right now, what its state is, what it needs, and what it's telling you.

Many people have a thick wall between themselves and their bodies. Their bodies are speaking, but we don't listen. When it's tired, we force ourselves to stay awake with coffee. When it's tense, we wait until the pain becomes unbearable before addressing it. When it yearns to move, we suppress it with prolonged sitting.

Awareness is the beginning of listening.

Gentleness is a practice of awareness.

This is the deepest difference between Chanrou and most sports – it doesn't just train the body, it trains your relationship with your body.

In each Chanrou class, you are guided to feel where each vertebra of your spine is, how your breath flows between your chest and abdomen, the origin of movement from deep within your pelvis, and the changes in tension throughout your arm as your fingers extend into the distance.

These are not technical requirements; they are training in awareness.

When you learn to feel these details in class, what you take out is not just a more flexible body—you take out the ability to live more consciously in your own body.

When you walk, you feel the weight of your feet on the floor. When you breathe, you feel the moment the air truly enters your lungs. When you rest, you feel your body saying "thank you."

This awareness adds a touch of authenticity to every ordinary moment.

One day, this gift will be taken away.

Juliu said this not to instill fear, but to inspire appreciation.

One day, this body will no longer belong to you. One day, you will no longer be able to use it to feel the sunlight, to move, to hug the people you love, or to do anything you now take for granted.

This isn't pessimism; it's the truth. And if you're willing to face this truth, it will make you appreciate everything you have now in a different way.

Being able to walk is a gift. Being able to breathe deeply is a gift. Being able to feel the flow of energy in your body is a gift.

Today is the chance to enjoy this gift.

Don't wait until retirement to start taking care of your health. Don't wait until you get sick to cherish your health. Don't wait until you lose it to be grateful for its existence.

Today is that opportunity.

Every time you step into Chanrou's practice, it's a choice to build a deeper connection with this gift. Let it be used well, let it be truly listened to, and let it receive the care it deserves while you have it.

Juliu's last sentence is the core of this entire quote: "When you have it, truly enjoy the gift."

It's not forced, not an obligation, not management—it's enjoyment.

With awareness, with gratitude, and with a heart truly living in the present moment, let your body flow.

This is Chanrou's deepest invitation.

["post-5127","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
