I've been using GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® for about 1 to 2 years. When I first got to know GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS®, I thought it was a beautiful exercise that combines strength and gentleness. It combines core strength, extension, and flexibility.
I've been learning from teacher Sasa for a long time. Through the "Gentle Movement" equipment, she teaches me to coordinate my breathing with the flow of the equipment and to feel the feedback from my body. Each movement guides me to open up the space in my spine segment by segment, and I can feel a very slow and deep expansion of space.
At GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS®, you can learn deep core stability and proper posture. The straps and weight plates help stretch the sides and chest, and also open up the hip joints. Every time I go to GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS®, my body feels so good! ^^
The flexibility of the equipment means it's not limited by height, allowing for adjustments to address asymmetry caused by body imbalances. By emphasizing symmetry and with instructor Sasa's meticulous observation, problems can be identified and addressed immediately. Each class, through Sasa and the different equipment, has given me a deeper understanding of my body.
